Woodson Cake & A Plug for Kaitlin

I coach little ones. Well, they're in high school, but they seem little to me. And I'm sure I seem little to some of you, but it's all relative, right? Well, they were a joy to coach, and being around them was always so fun and took me back to age 17, when everything was gravy except my 11:00 curfew.

They really raved a while back when I made my rainbow cake, so for their end of the year banquet, I absolutely had to recreate it.  This time, red, white and blue, their school colors. It was a hit, if I do say so myself. Nothing like a little stroke to the ego. Here's a few pictures of the creation, and then something a whole lot cooler...

Goooooo Cavs!

This picture reminds me of something straight out of Dr. Suess...
This chocolate just makes me happy
I couldn't decide if I wanted to do rainbow or the school colors so I asked one of the girls, who happens to be a WAY cooler baker than I am. Check out some of her stuff...

Yeah, she is super talented, and she's only a junior in high school! I have to brag a little bit. Not that I taught her this, but I taught her some soccer, so that counts for something! I'm impressed. Aren't you? Time to get ready to head to Georgetown with my girl frands. Happy Weekend!
