I'm full. This city is killing me... in the best way possible, of course.
Luckily, I fit in a five mile run this morning, which made the indulgence oh-so-much better. From then on, though, it was all downhill.
Anyway, what you've all been waiting for. Today I did Cambridge, which is the charming setting of this little school you may have heard of. Harvard? Yeah I had to google it.
Hahvahd Square is such a cute little area. I'm talking great coffee shops, bakeries, eateries, whatever. It's all there. I was planning on making lunch at my sister's apartment, but I couldn't resist the temptation of some quaint little cafe calling my name. I set off in search of the perfect sandwich...and found it!
Cafe Crema has soups, salads, sandwiches, baked goodies and a ton of caffeinated beverages. What more could a girl ask for? Nada. I ordered the Veggies and Ricotta sandwich: Whipped ricotta-roasted red pepper spread with grilled portobello, roasted fennel, spinach, tomato & red onion on a toasted homemade baguette. Yum. I love love love it when a sandwich has a crusty bread. This one was fantastic. And I've never had a ricotta spread. It's a yes.
I heard all these bakery orders that sounded so tasty, and it was really hard to resist the muffins and the cookies but I did.
